We have been working on some construction in the basement we are super excited about. We took out part of a wall and a cabinet and put in a fireplace and then re-painted the whole thing. We've been just sitting on it for a while but on Saturday Tyler and Ralph (Carl's brother and Dad) came and helped us tile and do the rock work on the fire place. It isn't completely finished but we are getting closer. It looks really good we are really happy with the way it has turned out so far.

Meg, it looks great! It's nice to have family around to help with those types of projects. I know we loved it while we were finishing our basement in Saratoga.
wow, you fireplace looks awesome! i can't stop looking at it, it looks soo good! :o) Like the back round too, you'll have to email the directions on how to change that.
So impressed! Great job! I swear, it takes up about a year and a half to get anything together and it would take about 10 years to do something incredible like that!
