In a RUT!!

I am in a cooking rut and need help. I keep making the same things over and over again because they are easy. I am enlisting all my blog friends help. If you have a great EASY recipe please comment. I am sick of chicken enchiladas, so is Carl (who is nice enough to tell me he likes them and that they get better on the 4th day), and Garrick loves me enough to chew and swallow anything I put in his mouth. I look forward to something new at least.

try simplifysupper.com, they have a month set out for you or you can make your own and they even create a shopping list for you!

That is a very cool site she sent you!
I am so much worse at this than anyone! I love to cook, Addi however stands in between me and the stove crying until I stop, or she has to help which I know will lead to 3rd degree burns!
Some common things are Shepherds pie (really good ground beef meal) if it sounds good let me know. We also have problems, so just let me know if you find great ideas!

How about enchilada casserole...just kidding. I really like anything with pasta (or rice) with vegetables and maybe some chicken. I don't think I could be any more vague. Good luck

HI! HI! This is Stephanie (Burrell) Dirks. Hey, try 2 1/2 c chicken in chunks. 2T Onions. 4T melted butter. 4T milk. 1/2t Salt. 1/4t pepper. 8oz cream cheese. Mix together and put heaping TBS. into refridgerated buttermilk biscuits. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for ~16 minutes. They're fast and easy. You can also use two cans of canned chicken to make it even easier!

We like to marinade meats and place the in the fridge overnight. Then cook and serve with potatoes, or rice- we like the ones that cook in seven minutes and come in many flavors, or pasta. A fun drink always makes for a fun meal at our house!

We have "Breakfast" for dinner every once in a while. It's fun. It's funny that we have breakfast for dinner, but I gag to think of a hotdog for breakfast!
